Artist Statement

My work is grounded in realism, with a focus on capturing the world as it appears—flawed, fleeting, and beautifully intricate.  I strive to push the boundaries of painting by creating images that, at first glance, can be mistaken for photographs. This visual ambiguity is not a trick, but a quiet invitation to look closer, yet I also try to express beauty in abstract art.
