I am a new Wilson resident from Roanoke Rapids NC, where I retired in 2017 from a thirty-year career of teaching visual arts to Kindergarten through Fifth Grade students. I have experience in a variety of artistic mediums including representational and abstract painting, oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, portraiture, printmaking, photography, sculpture and pottery, hand built and wheel thrown. I am also a songwriter, playing guitar, harmonica, bass, vocals, and performing at local open-mic nights. Since retiring and moving to Wilson in 2024, I have continued exploring art both independently and by participating in art classes at Wilson Community College and in local arts organizations, Wilson Arts and Wilson Active Artists. I look forward to growing as an artist in this community of artists!
